Diagnostics are a flat $75. After we identify the issue, we give you a written quote before any repair work begins — you decide whether to move forward.
Virus and malware removal is $149 flat. All other repairs — hardware, OS reinstalls, upgrades, data recovery — are quoted after the diagnostic. We never charge call-out fees because we don't do on-site work.
Do you offer on-site or in-home PC repair?
No. Dave's Computers is a walk-in shop only, located at 75 N Bridge St in Somerville, NJ. We don't dispatch technicians to homes or offices.
Customers from across central NJ — Bridgewater, Raritan, Hillsborough, Edison, Princeton — drop off their PCs and pick them up when ready. Curbside drop-off is available if you call ahead at 908-428-9558.

Hardware repairs depend on parts — common parts like RAM, SSDs, and power supplies are usually in stock. Specialty components may take 2–5 business days. We call you with updates; you never have to chase us.
