What NJ Customers Say About Our LG Repairs
From Bridgewater to Warren: customers across Somerset County trust Dave's with their LG Gram laptops.
"Brought my LG Gram 16 in from Bridgewater: screen cracked after a bag dropped on it. Dave's sourced the right IPS panel and had it done in two days. Looks brand new. Great service, fair price."
"LG Gram wouldn't charge at all: tried four different USB-C cables. Dave's diagnosed a failed charging IC on the board, not just the port. Fixed in 48 hours. Would have bought a new laptop unnecessarily otherwise."
"3-year-old LG Gram from Warren was down to 2 hours of battery life. Dave's swapped the battery and it's back to a full day. Quick turnaround, flat rate, no upselling. Exactly what I needed."

What You Usually Get
What You Get Here
What We See on LG Laptops Here in New Jersey
💎 LG Gram: Light But Not Indestructible
The LG Gram is famous for being ultra-lightweight and MIL-SPEC rated, but that doesn't mean drop-proof. The display assembly is particularly fragile given its thin profile, and NJ professionals who carry their Gram daily see screen damage from even minor impacts. If your Gram screen is cracked or showing pressure spots, we can source replacement panels.
🔌 Charging Trouble After NJ Storms
LG Grams that stop charging after storm-season power fluctuations come across our counter regularly. Whether the cause is the charger, the battery or surge damage on the board, a $75 diagnostic tells us exactly what happened and whether a repair makes sense.
🏠 LG Gram as the NJ Commuter's Laptop
The Gram's light weight made it the go-to laptop for NJ commuters, but fewer people are commuting now, and those Grams are being used as heavy WFH machines instead. Daily 8–10 hour use has accelerated battery wear on 2–3 year old Grams significantly. A battery swap restores full-day runtime.
💼 Gram Repairs for NJ Professionals
LG Gram laptops are popular with NJ lawyers, consultants, and healthcare workers who need a capable machine that won't weigh them down. At $1,200–$1,800, a screen replacement or charging repair is clearly worth it versus replacement. We treat them accordingly.
LG Laptop Repair You Can Actually Trust in NJ
We Diagnose First, Always
We run a full diagnostic before recommending anything. LG Gram charging failures especially: port vs. IC vs. surge damage require different repairs.
Flat-Rate, No Hourly Clock
You get a firm quote before we start. The $75 diagnostic gets credited to your repair. No surprises on a premium machine.
Fast Turnaround
Most LG repairs diagnosed within 24 hours, completed within 48. Battery swaps and keyboard replacements are often same-day.
Honest Recommendations
If the repair costs more than the laptop is worth, we'll tell you. No upselling on things you don't need.
Local Since 2011
We've been at 75 N Bridge St, Somerville NJ for over a decade. No 800 number, no ticket system, no runaround.
