From Parlin and President Park to Sayre Woods and Melrose, Sayreville runs on commuter laptops, family desktops, and more than a few serious gaming rigs. When one of them quits, dead screen the night before a work presentation, a gaming PC that shuts down mid-match, a family computer full of un-backed-up photos. The question is always the same: who can fix it fast without playing games on price?
Dave's Computers has answered that for Middlesex County since 2011. We're a drop-off bench shop in Somerville: $75 diagnostic (credited toward your repair), a flat-rate quote texted to you, work starts only after you approve. Your machine never leaves our building, no regional depots, no "we'll have to send it out," no three-week waits like the big-box counters near the Garden State Parkway.
And yes. Hometown of Bon Jovi, we know. Bring the laptop in; it's your turn to be halfway there in fifteen minutes on Route 18.

I engaged "Dave's Computer" to build a new custom build Windows 11 computer as replacement for the Windows 10 machine.
I presented my thoughts and needs to Dave about the new unit and he asked some basic questions as to my needs and want for the new unit. We touched on cost for the unit and I left...
I dropped off my laptop, and Dave gave me a clear overview of the problem (he had experienced similar issues on 3 others of the same model) and the cost. Communication was clear and helpful. Once he started the repairs, he kept me updated. I would absolutely use Dave again!!
I have been going to Dave's Computers for years because he always fixes my problems. I also use his anti-virus and it is as good as any, if not better, than others that I would have to pay much more for. If you're having problems, go to Dave's. He doesn't break the bank and he solves the problems.
Over the last decade or so, whenever I had a computer problem, I went to Dave. I recently had a very worrisome crash; the system failed to boot up. (I hadn't needed to use him for about 3 years.) I paid the "rush fee" on Saturday when dropping the machine off with the weekend agent. By Monday...
"As a Broker of over 40 years in New Jersey I rely on my computer help", which is the artery to my success and business. Thank goodness Dave's is here for me with the messes I get into with scammers, land grabbers and just uneccesary things that I pick up. The most effective virus program have ever...
I had previously tried to build my own PC to no success. Even though right now it is really tough to get a PC built due to the price increases with RAM’s, GPU’s and other parts because of AI, I still really wanted to get one for myself. I came across Dave’s Computers online and went in for a...
About 19 miles, roughly 30 minutes: US-9 to NJ-18 North, which runs straight into I-287. Exit 13, right on N Bridge St, free parking at the door of 75 N Bridge St, Somerville.
Can you really fix a gaming PC faster than the chains?
Yes, because nothing gets shipped anywhere. GPUs, PSUs, cooling, no-POST boards: diagnosed on our bench, usually back to you in 24–48 hours after approval. Rush service available before a big weekend.
Do you do house calls in Sayreville?
Not for residential work. Drop-off keeps quality up and prices flat. Can't lift the tower? Park in our lot, call 908-428-9558, and we'll carry it in from your car. Sayreville businesses can book on-site projects.
What if you open it up and it's not worth fixing?
We tell you straight, you pay only the $75 diagnostic, and if you want we'll quote a replacement or a custom build and move all your data over.
My laptop screen cracked: ballpark cost?
Most laptop screen replacements run $180–$275 including part and labor, depending on the panel. Text us the model number and we'll quote it before you drive up.
Do I need an appointment?
Never. Mon–Fri 10–5, Sat 9–2. Saturday mornings are popular with Sayreville folks running errands. Come on by.
