All-in-One Problems I Fix
One box, so every problem looks like the whole computer died.
With a tower, a bad screen is a screen problem and a bad computer is a computer problem. An all-in-one hides both behind one piece of glass, so owners usually can't tell which half failed. That's what the diagnostic is for. The all-in-ones that reach my bench in New Jersey come in for the same handful of reasons:

Do you repair all-in-one desktop computers in NJ?
Yes. I repair HP, Dell, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, MSI and other Windows all-in-one desktops at my shop in Somerville, New Jersey. It's a drop-off shop, no appointment needed. Apple iMacs are covered on my iMac repair page.
How much does all-in-one computer repair cost?
The diagnostic is $75 and it's credited toward the repair when you approve the work. After the diagnostic you get one flat quote, parts and labor together, before anything else is charged.
Can the RAM or drive in an all-in-one be upgraded?
On most models, yes. Many all-in-ones have memory slots and a drive bay or an M.2 slot, and some have the memory fixed to the board. I check your exact model at drop-off and tell you what it will take before you spend anything on parts. I supply the parts with the upgrade.
Can you replace a cracked or dead all-in-one screen?
It depends on the model. Some all-in-one panels are still available and worth replacing, and some cost more than the computer is worth. I look up your exact model after the diagnostic and give you a straight answer and one price.
Will I lose my files?
Most all-in-one repairs don't touch your files. If the drive itself is failing, I tell you before doing anything, and copying your files to a new drive or recovering them is work I do in the shop.
Is an old all-in-one worth fixing?
Often yes, when the screen is good. A slow all-in-one with a healthy screen usually comes back to life with an SSD and more memory, which costs far less than a new one. If it isn't worth fixing, I'll say so at the diagnostic.
How long does all-in-one repair take?
Most repairs and upgrades take 24 to 48 hours. All-in-one parts are model-specific, so a part that has to be ordered adds a few days. You get the date up front.
Do I need to bring anything with it?
Bring the all-in-one and its power adapter. Keyboard and mouse can stay home unless they're part of the problem. The original box is not needed, but carry it screen-side protected.
