No. I don't do single-key repairs on Dell laptops. The repair is a full Dell keyboard replacement, which is what holds up. Every key feels and types the same afterward.
Do you repair Dell Latitude keyboards for businesses?
Yes. Latitude 3000, 5000 and 7000 series keyboards are some of the most common Dell repairs I do, especially on machines used all day. Drop them off at the shop; business clients can also ask about on-site support.
My Dell XPS keyboard stopped working after an update. Is it broken?
Sometimes it's a setting or driver, sometimes it's the hardware. The diagnostic tells the difference before any part is ordered, so you don't pay for a keyboard you don't need.
I spilled coffee on my Dell Inspiron keyboard. What now?
Turn it off, unplug it, and bring it in. Don't keep testing it. Liquid can reach the board under the keyboard, and the diagnostic checks both before I quote.

Is a Dell keyboard repair covered if my laptop is still under Dell warranty?
If your Dell is still under warranty and the keyboard failed on its own, Dell's warranty may be the better route, and I'll tell you so. Spills and out-of-warranty machines are where a local repair makes the most sense.
How long does a Dell keyboard replacement take?
If the keyboard for your model is on hand it can be quick. Otherwise I order the exact part and give you a timeline with the quote. Rush service is $100 extra.
