Avoid the Fake Data Recovery Listings

Directions from Plainfield to Our Somerville Shop
From downtown Plainfield you head north through North Plainfield to Route 22, then it is a straight run west to Somerville.
From Plainfield station (NJ Transit Raritan Valley Line)
- Leave the station on Gavett Place and turn left onto East 2nd Street. It is a very short hop. Then turn right onto Park Avenue (County Route 531).
- Follow Park Avenue as it becomes Somerset Street. Continue about 0.7 mile in total on County Route 531.
- Turn left onto Greenbrook Road (County Route 636). Stay on it for about 0.9 mile.
- Turn right onto Crosson Place, then right onto West End Avenue (County Route 649). Crosson Place is about a tenth of a mile; West End Avenue is about a quarter mile to Route 22.
- Turn left to join US 22 West. Stay on Route 22 for about 9 miles, then take the exit ramp on the right.
- Bear right on Grove Street and again on Ivanhoe Avenue. These two short streets total about a third of a mile.
- Finish with a left onto North Bridge Street. Go about 0.6 mile. Our shop at 75 N Bridge St is on the right; turn right into the driveway at the blue Dave's Computers arrow sign.
A Real Office, With Our Own Parking
We work out of a commercial office building on North Bridge Street, not a spare room in someone's house. It's the large gray-shingled building with the stone front and the tall brick chimneys.
- Find the blue arrow sign. Our Dave's Computers sign sits at the curb right at the driveway entrance.
- Pull into the private lot. Follow the driveway along the left side of the building to the parking lot. Parking is free.
- Look for our windows. Our entrance is in the single-story wing facing the lot, with Dave's Computers signs in the windows.

When is the $75 refunded?
When you hand us the drive directly (a bare drive, external drive, USB flash drive or SD card) and we can't recover your data, the diagnostic is refunded. If the drive has to be removed from a laptop or desktop, that removal is labor, so the diagnostic isn't refunded even if recovery isn't possible.
How long does it take?
The standard diagnostic takes 2 to 3 days. We also offer rush service, and we'll go over it with you in person at drop-off.
