Directions from Edison to Our Somerville Shop
From the Menlo Park Mall you're on US 1 South for only about a mile and a half, and then I-287 North takes care of most of the drive.
From the Menlo Park Mall (55 Parsonage Road)
- Leave the mall on the Lafayette Avenue side and take the ramp for US 1 South. It's a short run from the parking lot, well under half a mile.
- Ride US 1 South for about 1.3 miles. Stay alert for the I-287 signs, because they come up quickly.
- Take the ramp signed I-287 North toward Morristown and Mahwah. The ramp is about 0.4 miles long before it merges onto the interstate.
- Stay on I-287 North for about 13 miles. This is most of the trip. You'll pass Exit 10 for Easton Avenue and Exit 13 for Route 28 toward Somerville and Bound Brook. Keep going.
- Use Exit 14B for US 22 West toward Clinton. This exit peels off on the left, so get into the left lane a little early. The ramp is about 0.6 miles.
- Go about 1.6 miles on US 22 West and take the next exit on the right. It's a short ramp that lets you out by Grove Street.
- Keep right onto Grove Street, then keep right onto Ivanhoe Avenue. You're on each one for only a couple of blocks.
- Turn left onto North Bridge Street. Drive south for a little over half a mile.
- Turn right into our driveway at 75 N Bridge St. Watch for the blue Dave's Computers arrow sign at the curb. Park anywhere in the private lot and come inside to the kiosk.
A Real Office, With Our Own Parking
The shop is inside a commercial office building on North Bridge Street, not somebody's spare bedroom. Look for the big gray-shingled building with the stone front and tall brick chimneys.
- Spot the blue arrow sign. It stands at the curb right where the driveway starts.
- Drive back to the private lot. The driveway runs along the left side of the building, and parking is free.
- Head for the signs in the windows. Our door is in the one-story wing that faces the lot.
