Directions from Piscataway to Our Somerville Shop
From the Livingston Campus you take Route 18 north to I-287, then a handful of exits to Somerville.
From the Livingston Student Center (Rutgers Livingston Campus)
- Head out to Joyce Kilmer Avenue, then turn left onto Rockafeller Road.
- At the roundabout, continue onto Avenue E, which becomes Davidson Road. This is about half a mile.
- Take the ramp for Route 18 North. Follow Route 18 for about 2.2 miles.
- Stay with Route 18 as it turns left onto Centennial Avenue, then follow the signs for I-287 North. The last short piece runs along Possumtown Road to the ramp.
- Take I-287 North for about 5.5 miles. You'll pass Exit 13 for Route 28; keep going.
- Take Exit 14B for US 22 West toward Clinton. This ramp leaves from the left lane, so move over early. It runs about 0.6 miles.
- Drive about 1.6 miles on US 22 West, then take the exit on the right. It's a short ramp that drops you near Grove Street.
- Bear right onto Grove Street, then bear right again onto Ivanhoe Avenue. Each one is only a block or two.
- Turn left onto North Bridge Street. Head south a little over half a mile.
- Turn right into our driveway at 75 N Bridge St. The blue Dave's Computers arrow sign marks the entrance. Park in the private lot and head inside to the kiosk.
A Real Office, With Our Own Parking
The shop is inside a commercial office building on North Bridge Street, not somebody's spare bedroom. Look for the big gray-shingled building with the stone front and tall brick chimneys.
- Spot the blue arrow sign. It stands at the curb right where the driveway starts.
- Drive back to the private lot. The driveway runs along the left side of the building, and parking is free.
- Head for the signs in the windows. Our door is in the one-story wing that faces the lot.
